fried rice & 14 foot snowmen

i went from not really having any plans this weekend to having too many! just kidding, there are always enough hours in the day -- your definition of day just needs to stretch a little.

this weekend so far has included 6 hours at work, a meeting, IV large group, dinner out last night, grocery shopping, hanging out until 4 am with friends, homework, small group game night, cookie making for the game night, hockey watching, fried rice making and paper writing. and it's only 10 pm on saturday.

we're enjoying incredibly warm weather. like short sleeves, run around outside and leave your windows open kind of weather. it's 40 degrees and sunny! of course, we're back to snow this week but we'll enjoy it while we can.

okay, so this post is super jumbled and written over an entire day (due to distractions and life). i've been meaning to put up pictures for a while so here are a bunch.

moved all of our stuff to the kitchen. quite pretty, huh?

i made cookies today for a small group get together.

made fried rice for dinner tonight-- leftovers for the whole week too!

soybeans, broccoli, corn, mushrooms, rice, soy sauce & peanut oil.

yummmm.

this was dinner from last week. the colors look a little funky but it was some chili on top of lettuce with frozen corn :)
