lost and found

refreshing the caps score online, listening to music, watching the rangers/tampa bay game on TV, working on ASL homework, updating my blog and drinking some delicious tea [POMEGRANATE TEA! in a cow mug! if you have not previously tried it, you should. it's pink. and wonderful and delicious] that nana so kindly provided me with today :) multi-task much?

lately my life seems to be full of opportunities and pretty much the only thing i can do is say yes and hope that 24 hours turns out to be a lot more time than it looks like.

i'm learning that i can live with the bare minimum. 1 meal that lasts all week. only about 10 shirts in a box that's left in the kitchen. ironically just when everything else goes down to the bare minimum, we get internet. go figure. i need to figure out a day that i can just go totally without internet. it'd be good every once in a while but it's scary how attached i am to it.

got a bunch of catching up to do this weekend. well by catching up, i mean getting ahead. and if i can do so, the next few weeks should be less stressful. photoshoot to do. ASL performance to go to on thursday. work, ice skating, basketball game and skate for a cause on friday. art history review, work shenanigans and who knows what all else on saturday. church, small group event and homework on sunday. apparently i like being busy.

and now for a lost and found story from yesterday. our apartment is a messy kind of clean. i mean, we had to move EVERYTHING about 3 times in the span of a week so needless to say i don't really have much of a clue as to where everything might be hiding. usually on mondays i come back from my 5 pm class, eat a quick dinner, grab my bible for small group and head off to class. except.. i couldn't find it. my bible was seriously no where to be found and i was less than excited about this because class was starting soon and i had not left yet so i began to tear through bags. i had just seen the darn thing yesterday, it was on my bed in my room which has about 3 items in it so really? where in the world could it be. 10 minutes before class was supposed to start i decided that i should just leave and someone else at small group would have one to borrow before i had time to rummage through the rest of my belongings. i was less than pleased on my walk to class but figured everything would work out. ended up getting out of class 45 minutes early-- hooray for extra time to look around. i was talking to alison on my walk back and told her my whole story so she started running through places it could possibly be. "under the couch? in my bed? in the bathroom? in the fridge?" who in the world do you think i am alison... you?! :P just kidding. why would i put my bible in the fridge. apparently she lost a ring once and found it in the fridge. anyway, i couldn't find it anywhere and she was running out of ideas so goes "i dont know, just pray about it or something and you'll find it eventually this week" i was standing over near the fridge at this point and looked down into a box and there is was!! so while it was not IN the fridge, i found that kind of ironic.

so everything that has been lost was found and we're all good :) now off to call sarah because apparently she has something to tell me that can't wait? and then photoshoot with ashley as my model for my project!

Glad the pomegranate tea is good. Hot stuff is good for your innards. Especially in Rochester!. You have
mentioned basket ball - what is this? Not hockey? I
am interested in your skate for a cause on Friday. You go girl. Misplaced your bible. Not to worry - you just do things alphabetically........Bible was just filed next
to "cold storage." Just remember that next tome . You
are wonderful and I love you.
