recap

lots and lots going on recently.
i have spent more hours sitting in front of a computer in a lab here or on campus doing homework than i wish to count.

i have to-do lists up to my ears.
somewhat manageable as long as i devise a plan to make the day longer than 24 hours.
not to worry, i seem to do better with lots on my plate.

i started a design blog [calltheserif] a while back and i've recently started updating it more. trying to gradually switch over to something more design related & relevant for job searching! i'll still be updating this one with less professional thoughts (oh who am i kidding, that one in't very professional sounding either).

working on a ton of projects all at once (who knew my lightest credit load would require the most amount of time spent outside of classes). guess that was good planning on my part. luckily it is all fun & i'm really enjoying sitting down to work on things lately. good news.

going to an honors breakfast for dinner shortly! yum! and hooray for not having to cook anything. later tonight we are having a "girls/apartment night" which last time i checked on facebook the description included "chick flicks & obligatory boy bashing" oh so amusing. we've been trying to plan one of these since the beginning of the year-- quite pathetic, we all LIVE together and this is the first few hours of free time we all have :)

here is episode one of a video that i've been working on for the admissions office. i'll to first to admit that some parts are a little rough but it's a definitely learning curve & we'll get there eventually. worked on episode 2 today so that should be coming out next wednesday.

the rest of my family is going to see Eric perform tonight and i'm more than slightly jealous. too bad my harry-potter-floo-powder-traveling powers are not yet working.

stay tuned next week for a post on (hopefully) accomplishing one thing on my life to-do list. and possibly some project updates (although there is one on my other blog)

happy weekend!
