update of mass proportions

The blog has taken a bit of an unexpected hiatus. The problem being that I currently am doing so much worth talking about that I don't have time to sit down and write!

Monday through Friday includes much of the same (with added bonuses at night). Still working at the admissions office from 8:30-4:30. Going to the gym with Kara afterwards (except for tonight when we're going to walk around campus instead). Dinner of some sort. Reading. Then bed.

Sounds fantastically fun, no?

This past weekend was College and Careers which meant that we all woke up early on Friday worked from 8:30-midnight. I came home worked some more editing pictures and what not and then we got up and did it all again on Saturday from 7-5. Exhausting I tell you.

Everyone at the office is still, in fact, catching up on sleep. Monday everyone came in looking like zombies and when 2 pm rolled around, if the floor didn't look so gross we would have all been passed out.

Saturday after C&C I watched a movie to relax for a bit and then ended up going to get dinner with Casey after checking out our new apartment! Blue walls, in case you were wondering. Then, in admissions office fashion, we all hung out until way past our bedtimes. Because, after all, we simply do not get enough of each other at work for endless hours everyday for the whole year.

Sunday was volunteering at church in the waddlers room followed by grocery shopping, a much needed nap and then some prep work for the vacation bible school IV is helping with next week.

Monday after work I headed downtown for a VBS planning meeting. It was all fine and dandy until I headed back... and got lost. I was told to turn right twice and get back on the main road. Clearly that was not an option because when I turned right once I was greeted by a lovely construction roadblock. Time for a detour to the middle of nowhere. Luckily my future roommate happened to need something at that very moment and called me which served as a GPS. Good news, made it back in one piece. Other news, learn about 4 routes to get anywhere in Rochester over the summer. They have two seasons, winter and construction.

Last night was an admissions ambassador dinner and movie night! Sade and Dan all made a bunch of food and then everyone else brought even more so we were left with a very very full table of food-- which will most likely be consumed at the office for lunch today! I believe there were 14 of us total.. again, we cannot seem to get enough of each other in the office! Watched Mean Girls and My Big Fat Greek Wedding until we realized how late it was and how we all had work in the morning.

Today I'm giving a tour to a counselor from CT, walking around campus teaching part of the tour route and then going to dinner at a place downtown with Kara.

This weekend? Well... it has many many options.

blue walls? Hey, it will work - goes well with orange & lime green! Won' be long before you move in! I love it.The "waddlers" room - expect that is the same as our "toddlers: room. You are so busy but it all sounds good. See you in Maryland on Aug. 12th. Love you.
