apparently that makes me speedy mcspeedster.
it rained today. a lot.
the kind of rain that goes sideways and oozes through your shoes and hair and clothes. the kind that makes you resemble a drowned rat.
hail, wind, lightening, thunder. you name it, we had it.
after work, i usually proceed to the side of building seven and pick up my bike before biking over to the gym. today the path to my bike was filled with 3 lovely inches of water. let's just leave the rest up to your imagination. i got quite wet.
speed demon bike raced over to the gym and ran inside (as if that would prevent me from getting wet) although, it was mostly to avoid the lightening and thunder.
after the gym it was nice and deceptively sunny out until it started to thunder again which made the speed demon bike racer go infinitely faster. vroom vroom.
so that is the saga of my soggy lightening filled transportation problems today.
it didn't really make me that sad until i came back and found my rain jacket packed neatly next to my bed. go figure!

Hey......if you had taken your rain jacket with you in the morning your story for the day wouldn't have been nearly as interesting. Perhaps you need a lightening rod on your bicycle and drag a chain behind or something. As time goes by this will become funnier - Love you, Nana
