hi my name is emily and i'm addicted to blogging.

this is bad guys. real bad.

i already follow and inordinately large number of blogs and in the last 24 hours that number has tripled.

anyway moving on... sometimes i really wonder what is going on in certain situations.

let me explain.

yesterday after going to lunch at lovin cup with two of my friends, I decided that it would be a good idea to take a bus ride over to wegmans. i didn't particularly need food but i wanted to be out and about and it seemed like a good excuse to buy some more fruit.

after finding some food and perusing the magazine, cookbook and dr. seuss book collection i headed outside to wait for the bus. and people watch.

sunday is apparently couples shopping day because i passed a ton. girl knows what to buy, guy follows sheepishly behind as he is ordered about. girl walks into the store dressed appropriately for the cold weather, guy is in shorts and flip flops and is making pouty faces and complaining about how cold it is. funny stuff.

but that wasn't the best part.

i got back on the bus headed back to campus and the bus driver picks up his phone.. (aren't bus drivers not supposed to be using cell phones?)

anyway the conversation went something like this: (BD= bus driver, OG=other guy)

BD: "yeah man how many beers did you go through last night"

OG: some response

BD: "oh wow yeah dude we're going to need a lot more, we went through that whole bottle of smirnoff yesterday... we're going to need to stock up for tonight"

-end conversation-

phone rings again

BD: "yeah i already talked to him about the beer 'situation' i think it's covered... we need a ladder next week"

aside from wondering why he chose now of all times to be having a loud conversation about large quantities of alcohol, i was just wondering what in the world was going on.

i should go on adventures more often.
