this is the song that will not end

it's more like.... "this is the ring i cannot lose"

so remember a few weeks back when i lost my ring? well, weeks past and the other day i found it chilling out on the counter. which was totally weird because i hardly ever use that spot and i have no recollection of doing anything that would have caused a ring to fly off my finger right there. well, regardless, i got it back. and happily kept track of it for a week. until last night when i had to do laundry because of the bug guys. somehow in putting things in the dryer, i lost it AGAIN! i have no idea how this happens. i searched through everything and was pretty bummed because i'm sick of losing it. but this time i had hopes that it would turn up again. and it did! so apparently the moral of this story is eat foods that make my fingers really large so it never falls off again :)

i'm currently obsessed with this song. i just love the way that it all comes together. it's even cooler to be singing it in a room full of friends :) tonight my small group got together with another one and had worship night which was pretty nice because it's week 8 and who couldn't use a couple hours to just relax and not worry about anything! definitely thankful for that. i'm not even a bit worried about the 4 page paper that i have due tomorrow night because everything always comes together.

i guess as frustrating as this quarter-- i mean past two quarters have been, it's grounded me some. taught me stuff about what to do when shenanigans happen. plus i just have really, super great friends.

my internet has been so bad lately that i'm thinking about calling them and just turning it off. get ahead start on the retreat that i'm looking forward to at the end of may -- which i will not be bringing a computer to. aside from blogging, nothing really requires the internet anyway. we'll see.

anyway, i should probably really start my paper now because as much as i'd like to just keep looking up new songs and lyrics, i might regret that decisions tomorrow morning when i have to wake up super early.

Hi Em:
Life is absolutely pure adventure and the sooner that
we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat
life as art. And, age has nothing to do with it. I am
still trying to figure so many things out. The rules
(and me) keep being updated. Love you to pieces. I
wish I could just "beam" myself to RIT this weekend
for your special happening. Your Mom & Dad will be there and I hope to get a full report. You are wonderful and I love you.
